You May Have a Food Addiction!!

Ever eat when you’re bored?

In my opinion, you might have a food addiction.

Whether minor or severe, it’s there. I like the feeling food gives me. I feel comfortable when I eat, as most people do.

If you look at it the way you would look at someone who’s addicted to alcohol or cocaine, you’ll realize this can do more harm than good.

Tonight I noticed that I was eating even though I was full. Like literally eating just because it tasted so good. I wasn’t hungry at all. Just bored and I couldn’t sleep, so I made some pizza rollls. 😦

I got up and just looked at the plate of food and tossed it in the trash. I never realized that I ate this way until tonight. I felt ashamed. I’m sure this one of the things that have caused me to be overweight, which is something I’ve struggled with my entire life. If you read my previous posts, you know that losing weight is one of my New Year Resolutions.

I want to lose 40 pounds by April 1st. 🙂

I have a theory:

If I feel the urge to eat when I’m not hungry enough to eat a meal, I’ll drink water. This will help curb my appetite.

I’ll get some nuts and dark chocolate for the times I have a sweet tooth. (I looooove sugar!)

I’ll be tracking my weight lost accomplishments in the near future. Every month, you guys will get an update. Happy New Year! Hope everyone’s doing okay with their New Year’s Resolutions. 🙂
